Changing forces within a city continue to demand creative solutions. We believe strongly in working within existing infrastructure, and providing a sustainable growth to our cities that become great places to live in great communities. Collage is experienced and highly committed toward finding solutions and opportunity in redevelopment, re-use and brown-field sites.
Collage also believes strongly in working with the natural amenities to preserve landscapes as possible, and to restore and protect sites as a means to create great places of higher value, and long-term livability.

| Integrated Planning and Design
Uniqueness of Place: The Parks of Harmony will create great housing addresses defined by the parks, natural open space and a well connected pedestrian oriented community. Integration of the cultivated landscapes will help define the location as authentic to the area, and touch on the natural identity and character of a small town such as Carver. The plan integrates the housing of all types, commercial, retail, a school and community center into a mixed community that is connected along the clearly defined park system. Special nodes and gateways will be created to define residential enclaves. These enclaves or ?hamlets? are not only created and define by the natural landscape, but will also highlight the natural beauty of the enclave to create the character of this sub-developments. Passage into each neighborhood will be easily identifiable through gateway buildings and signage, and also noted by passing through a natural open space.
At Collage we believe that planning and housing is routed in the landscape and that design style should be indicative of that planning process. In the case of The Parks of Harmony, creating design guidelines is the final step in properly formalizing this cohesive process. This ensures that the project will have a direct connection to the landscape and the initial narrative while giving a framework for the completion of the project.
